When i lived in the UK, I used to use "morning glory" detergent and it was alright.
not as good as the german soap i was used to , but it was fine.
Then i was not aware of the american brands which might be very good like DAWN, and possible one gets that in the UK.
Otherwise Morning Glory did the job./
As I frequently go back to the UK - if anyone has any ness on this - which is the really best soap in the UK, please post it here !!!

I'd been looking everywhere for Surgilube at a reasonable price as all the best recipes seem to call for it and a busker in Pisa told me it was the stuff to have - he was making bubbles twice as big as I'd ever managed! Anyway, you can't buy Surgilube anywhere this side of the Atlantic but I found a guy on E-Bay who buys it for bedroom purposes and to keep the cost down has it sent in bulk from the US and then sells the rest off cheap. He was more than happy to let me have a load. Just search on ebay for surgilube!
Sadly I'm still not doing quite as big bubbles as the guy in Pisa, but getting close. I guess that's the difference between a guy who does it every day for money and me just doing it for the grandkids entertainment a couple of days a year! _________________ Surgilube is the key! |

Much discussion of European soaps and mixes has taken place on:

Search the old messages for much info.
I think Fairy and another brand are made by the evil Proctor and Gamble corp that makes Dawn and Joy for the us market. I have heard they work pretty well.
Surgilube is one of many lubes that can help a lot.
